1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Trimless for Gmail™ V3 ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Trimless for Gmail™ V3 is a Chrome browser extension that automatically expands clipped messages in Gmail™, eliminating the need to manually click "View entire message." The Extension:

• Operates locally within your browser
• Modifies the display of Gmail™ messages for improved readability
• Does not collect, store, or transmit any user data (except for payment processing)
• Offers both free and premium versions

3. License and Restrictions

3.1 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

3.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension (except as permitted by open source license)
• Use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the Extension
• Redistribute or resell the Extension without authorization
• Use the Extension in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair Gmail™ or Google's services
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices

4. Payment Processing with Stripe

4.1 Stripe as Payment Processor

Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") is our authorized and exclusive payment processor for all transactions related to Trimless for Gmail™ V3 premium features and purchases. By making a payment through our Extension, you agree to:

• Stripe's Terms of Service, available at: https://stripe.com/legal/consumer
• Stripe's Privacy Policy, available at: https://stripe.com/privacy
• All payment transactions are processed through Stripe's secure payment infrastructure
• Your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is not stored on our servers

4.2 No Liability for Stripe's Services

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: We are not responsible for and make no warranties regarding:

• Stripe's performance, availability, reliability, or uptime
• Any errors, failures, or interruptions in Stripe's payment processing services
• Stripe's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, or industry standards
• Any security breaches, data loss, or unauthorized access involving Stripe's systems
• Payment processing delays, failed transactions, or incorrect charges caused by Stripe
• Any disputes between you and Stripe regarding payment processing
• Changes to Stripe's fees, terms, or policies that may affect your transactions

Your use of Stripe's services is governed exclusively by Stripe's terms and conditions. Any issues, disputes, or claims related to payment processing must be directed to Stripe in accordance with their dispute resolution procedures. We act solely as a facilitator connecting you with Stripe's payment services.

4.3 Payment Authorization

By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that:

• You are legally authorized to use the payment method provided
• All payment information you provide is accurate and complete
• You will maintain sufficient funds or credit to complete transactions
• You authorize us to charge your payment method through Stripe for applicable fees

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

5.1 One-Time Purchases

For one-time premium feature purchases:

• Refund Period: You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase
• Refund Process: Contact us at support@trimlessforgmail.com with your order details
• Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days via Stripe
• No Partial Refunds: After 14 days, all sales are final unless required by law

5.2 Subscription Services

If the Extension offers recurring subscription billing:

• Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled
• Renewal Notice: You will receive email notification at least 7 days before each renewal
• Price Changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any subscription price changes
• Grace Period: If payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period to update payment information

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

• How to Cancel: Email support@trimlessforgmail.com or manage subscriptions via the Extension settings
• Effective Date: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Access: You retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period
• No Prorated Refunds: Cancellation does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the current billing cycle
• Reactivation: You may resubscribe at any time at the current subscription rate

5.4 Exceptions and Legal Rights

Notwithstanding the above:

• You retain all consumer rights under applicable law, including EU Consumer Rights Directive and state consumer protection laws
• EU customers have the right to withdraw from purchases within 14 days without providing a reason
• We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms
• Refunds are processed through Stripe and subject to their processing times and policies

6. Third-Party Services - Gmail

The Extension is designed to work with Gmail™, a service provided by Google LLC. Your use of Gmail™ is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for:

• Changes to Gmail™ that may affect the Extension's functionality
• Google's policies, practices, or terms of service
• Any issues arising from your use of Gmail™

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the Extension

We do not warrant that the Extension will meet your requirements or that any defects will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Extension
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Any other matter relating to the Extension

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trimless for Gmail™ V3, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Extension
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations

10. Compliance with Chrome Web Store Policies

Trimless for Gmail™ V3 is committed to full compliance with Google's Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies. We affirm that:

• User Data Transparency: We clearly disclose all data collection, usage, and sharing practices in our Privacy Policy
• Limited Use Policy: Any data collected is used solely for the purposes explicitly disclosed to users
• Prominent Disclosure: All permissions and data practices are disclosed before installation
• No Data Sale: We do not sell user data to third parties
• Secure Transmission: All data transmission is conducted over secure HTTPS connections
• Minimal Permissions: We request only the minimum permissions necessary for Extension functionality
• Content Compliance: The Extension contains no prohibited content as defined by Google's policies
• Manifest V3 Compliance: The Extension adheres to Chrome's Manifest V3 requirements and best practices

We regularly review and update our practices to maintain compliance with evolving Chrome Web Store policies. Users can report compliance concerns to Google via the Chrome Web Store or to us at support@trimlessforgmail.com

11. Updates and Modifications

We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the Extension at any time. Updates may be automatically installed through the Chrome Web Store. Continued use of the Extension after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

8.2 Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

9.1 By You

You may terminate your use of the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser.

9.2 By Us

We reserve the right to discontinue or terminate the Extension at any time without notice or liability.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Extension ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.

13. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how the Extension operates and our commitment to not collecting any user data. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Intellectual Property

The Extension and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Trimless for Gmail™ V3 and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

11.2 Open Source

The Extension is distributed as open source software under the MIT License. You may view, modify, and distribute the source code subject to the terms of that license.

11.3 Trademarks

Gmail™ is a trademark of Google LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiations between the parties
• If negotiations fail, binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules
• Each party shall bear their own costs and expenses

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Extension and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

19. Acknowledgment
